• The Greeley Freight Station Museum is a one-of-a-kind facility that features more than 600 railroad-related artifacts ranging from a Virginia and Truckee Railroad switch key to a full-sized Colorado and Southern wooden Caboose available for examining both inside and out. See the 5,500 sq. ft. operating miniature railroad dubbed “the finest model railroad ever seen.”
  • The Colorado Railroad Museum just outside of Golden has more than 100 narrow and standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, cabooses, HO Model Railroad, and G-scale garden railway on the 15-acre railyard. See the exhibit galleries, renowned library, Roundhouse restoration facility, and working turntable.
  • Ride the Georgetown Loop Railroad either aboard an old-time steam locomotive or one of the powerful diesel locomotives as it winds up the Clear Creek Canyon hauling your train past the remains of several gold and silver mines. Both the enclosed and open cars allow a breath-taking view of all sights along the line. Departures are available from the Silver Plume Depot or Devil’s Gate Station in Georgetown during the regular season. Trains operating after Columbus Day only operate from the Devil’s Gate Station in Georgetown.
  • The Historic Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad in Cripple Creek reveals scenic wonders around every curve as a century-old steam locomotive transports you back to the gold mining days of Cripple Creek & Victor. This is a 45-minute treat for railroad and history buffs, kids, and the whole family. 
  • Ride the World’s Highest Cog Railway – the Pikes Peak Cog Railway in Manitou Springs. The track of the Pikes Peak Cog Railway is 8.9 miles long. The round trip lasts 3 hours and 10 minutes and the views are spectacular. 
  • Climb aboard The Royal Gorge Route Railroad scenic train for a journey through the spectacular Royal Gorge in Cañon City. Since 1879, these tracks have followed the winding, tumbling Arkansas River deep within the soaring, 1,000-foot granite cliffs of Colorado’s Royal Gorge. Enjoy lunch, dinner, or snacks.
  • Ride the longest and highest Narrow Gauge Railroad in North America!  The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad is 64 miles of stunning scenery and life as it was in the 1880's.
  • Aboard the world-famous Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, relive the sights and sounds of yesteryear. This historic train has been in continuous operation for 130 years, carrying passengers behind vintage steam locomotives and rolling stock indigenous to the line making for a spectacular journey.
